IGTEI Airport Library

Version 1.6 · for X-Plane 12

What it is

The shared library used by every IG PRO SIM airport: service buildings, jetways, vehicles, people, vegetation, lights, signs and ground-wear details. Each IG PRO SIM airport package needs it, and newer versions always keep working with older airports.

Who can download it

The library is free for IG PRO SIM customers only. IG PRO SIM Hub installs it together with your airport, using your product serial. The serial of any IG PRO SIM airport works. IG PRO SIM Hub is Windows only for now. On macOS or Linux? Email support@igprosim.com with your serial and we'll send you your download link.

Install

  1. Unzip the archive. It contains two folders: IGTEI_Airport_Library_Buildings and IGTEI_Airport_Library.
  2. Copy both folders into X-Plane 12/Custom Scenery/.
  3. Start X-Plane once. The library is listed automatically in scenery_packs.ini; its position there does not matter.

Updating

Replace both folders with the new version. The installed version is in the file VERSION; the airport's plugin checks it and tells you when the library is missing or too old.

  • Service roads measured on the real airport: 7.2 m, 10.85 m and 17.25 m types with arrows, junctions, stop lines and STOP signs, width transitions and hold markings before taxiway crossings.
  • One shared road atlas and a sign texture.

  • New airside service-road line types: one line in WED draws the asphalt, edge lines and centre dashes.

  • Street banners and the forecourt flagpole now carry the real Qatar flag.
  • New warm sodium variants of the swan-neck street lights for the expressways.
  • Car parks: soft lighting under the roof parasols and ceiling lights on the open decks.
  • Hangars: door floodlights aimed out onto the apron; new high-mast for hangar aprons.
  • Far-away billboard lights, so airports glow from a distance.
  • Normal maps back to PNG (no more compressed-material warnings in the log).

  • First versioned release, shared by all IG PRO SIM airports.
  • Service-building kit, animated jetways and the fixed-link facade.
  • Cars (4 LODs) and ground-support vehicles with weathering.
  • Street furniture, lighting, fences, landscape, wear decals and vegetation.

Compatibility rule: paths used by a published IG PRO SIM airport are never renamed or removed. New assets are only added; updates replace the files behind an existing path.
