Frequently asked questions
Where do I download my airport?
Through IG PRO SIM Hub: get IG PRO SIM Hub (free) from the Microsoft Store, open it, enter your serial, click Activate, choose your X-Plane 12 folder and click Install. IG PRO SIM Hub installs the airport, the IGTEI Airport Library and the Add-on Pack, and keeps them updated. IG PRO SIM Hub is Windows only for now. On macOS or Linux? Email support@igprosim.com with your serial and we'll send you your download link.
How do I install it?
IG PRO SIM Hub does it: it puts the airport and both library folders into X-Plane 12/Custom Scenery and the Add-on Pack into the airport's plugins folder. If you installed from a zip before, the Hub replaces it. See first run.
Do I need the IGTEI Airport Library?
Yes. Every IG PRO SIM airport uses it, it's free for customers, and IG PRO SIM Hub installs it for you. See the Library page.
Are updates free?
Yes. All updates are free for owners, and we keep improving it. Updates show up in IG PRO SIM Hub and install with one click.
The airport runs slowly. What can I do?
Open Plugins > IGTEI Doha (OTHH) > Settings and set people / traffic density to Low or Off. The airport is tested on a 6 GB graphics card; if you have less VRAM, lower X-Plane's texture quality.
I bought on simMarket. Where is my serial?
It's in your simMarket order email and in your simMarket account under your orders.
Does the Add-on Pack work on macOS or Linux?
Not yet. The Add-on Pack (Follow-Me car, ground services, ambience sound) is Windows only for now. The airport itself works on Windows, macOS and Linux.
What is the IG PRO SIM Hub, and do I have to move to it?
The Hub is our small desktop app that installs and updates your airports with one serial. From Doha v1.3 on, updates come through it. Moving is free and your serial stays the same. See Moving to IG PRO SIM Hub.
Can I get a refund?
See our refund policy. If something doesn't work, write to us first; most problems are solved quickly.
